Working as a designer, Vivian Oliva saw a need in the market for a window treatment project manager. Since 1987 she and her sister, Laura, collectively known as Curtain Call, have filled that need by bringing together the scattered sectors of the window treatment world, saving designers valuable time and energy. Despite not having her own staff, Vivian's long-standing relationships with workrooms, installers, and other vendors allow her to coordinate them seamlessly, as if they were all under her roof. She saves designers the hassle of going to one source for fabric treatments, and various others for shades, blinds, and shutters. Clients extol her extensive knowledge of all things window-related, specifically her familiarity with new motorization technologies.
Armed with an arsenal of resources and a can-do attitude, Vivian translates the designer's initial idea into drawings, and sees it through from measurement to installation. For a percentage of the project's cost, she skillfully orchestrates the complex process as her clients rest easy, secure in the knowledge that it will all go smoothly. While her specialty is the management of large residential projects, Vivian's clients tell us they are comfortable giving her jobs as small as one shade, and as large as an entire commercial building.
