Tearing into a project, both literally and figuratively, Jennifer Post and her clients have concurrent epiphanies. Post knows her style and her clients applaud her ambitious transformations of boring or staid apartments into streamlined visions of classical contemporary. Her spatial insights and ingenuity usually translates into the raising of doorways, lowering of floors, and elimination of superfluous details. These new spaces are also commended for their strong bias toward comfort and livability, often with monochromatic built-ins. Historically, Post favored a white palette juxtaposed with dark floors and accents. Lately, she has favored more homogeneous tones, judiciously adding vibrant color to the mix. Supporters admire Post's can-do attitude and tenacity with contractors and suppliers, which enables her to wrap up projects in "record time."
