There aren’t too many people who think wallpaper hanging is fun, but don’t tell that to Wendy Ricks, owner and principal of Wallpaper by Wendy, who saw this “fun” work done in her own house and quickly saw her future. Whether residential or commercial, we understand that Ricks’ “unmatched ability” shines through, specializing in particularly difficult installs. Ricks is often times is brought on to project simply to fix mistakes made by previous installers or hangers. Tackling a large bedroom or 2 bathrooms in a day, clients and colleagues alike appreciate her ability to do “quick in-and-out work without sacrificing quality.” She is also a member of the National Guild of Professional Paperhangers.
When you ask for Wendy you get Wendy. Along with a paster, Ricks personally attends to every one of the company’s residential projects. For high-end projects, the company’s per day charge is said to be “reasonable” and Ricks typically will take care of any dings and nicks that may occur without any additional charge. Clients and colleagues alike take comfort in Ricks’ singular focus, knowing full well that their job will be completed before the next one begins.
