Company Philosophy
The unique style of each client is the starting point for Diane Peters' design work. By blending an understanding of the client with her own self-confident design sense, Peters is able to convey the aura of a client through the medium of a decorated room. Because the design remains grounded in the needs and desires of the client, her work is never tainted by a prescribed formula. Peters designs rooms of tasteful beauty and balance that reflect the inner imagination of the client. A talented and experienced forager, Peters can spot treasures at surprising discounts, whether at Cbristies, tag sales or flea markets.

Areas of Expertise / Recent Projects
Clients have retained Peters through years of projects as their family needs and careers have evolved. Peters worked with one Connecticut family on the renovation of their large Victorian home, and was later asked to design the interior of a beachfront property. She then followed the couple across the country to design their San Francisco townhouse. After decorating a turn-of-the-century home in Madison, CT, Peters was retained to redesign the husband's dental surgery office as well as his investment firm in Westport. Peters is able to switch from reworking previous projects when they need to be refreshed to collaborating with architects on the design details on the building of a client's "dream house." Peters' flexibility is matched with focus on each detail of each project. Joy in bringing beauty into the homes and offices of her clients makes Peters work pleasure for herself and her clients. Peters has close to 20 years of experience ranging from the decoration of a landmark McKim, Mead & White Manhattan apartment to a small Connecticut Cape for a young couple on a budget.
